At Sheppard Law Offices, we’re committed to preparing your
Federal and/or State Tax returns to your satisfaction. Our
tax professionals will work with you during the tax
interview to provide you with the attention and service you
deserve. Tax Law Attorney, Kenneth L. Sheppard, Jr., and
his father and Tax Professional, Kenneth L. Sheppard, Sr.,
work closely together to assist individual and business
taxpayers to prepare and file various tax returns,
including;
- Form 940 Employer’s Quarterly Federal Tax Return
- Form 941 Employer’s Annual Federal Tax Return
- Forms 1040 & 1040-A U.S. Individual Income Tax
Return
- Form 1065 U.S. Return of Partnership Income
- Form 1120 & 1120-S U.S. Corporation Income Tax
Return
- Form 4868 Application for Automatic Extension of
Time to File U.S. Individual Income Tax Return
We offer a comprehensive tax interview. We ask you
questions to accurately establish your tax liability,
identify all the deductions that you’re entitled to, and
work to get you the largest refund you deserve.
Amended Tax Returns
If you find documentation that you think may result in your
ability to claim a larger refund after your return was filed
this year, last year, or the year before, bring it to
Sheppard Law Offices. We’ll review a prior-year return
prepared by you or another tax preparation company, and then
notify you of any missed deductions or credits. For a fee,
we’ll then file an Amended Return on your behalf.
File an Extension
Without a valid extension, a late-filed return is subject to
a 5% per month penalty on any unpaid balance. The combined
penalties for late-filing and late-payment may be as much as
47.5% of the unpaid tax. Sheppard Law Offices can extend
your filing deadline six (6) months. Therefore, by timely
filing for an extension, your personal income tax return can
be filed on or before October 15th of the same calendar
year.
Whether your tax issue is in a collection or assessment
phase, the IRS will generally only negotiate a settlement
AFTER all of your tax returns are filed. At Sheppard Law
Offices, we can assist you to achieve current tax filing
status by preparing your Federal, State, and Local tax
returns, and then filing those returns with the proper
taxing authority.
